The 1st Symposium on Networking and Artificial Intelligence (SNAI 2024) was the inaugural edition of the SNAI series, dedicated to research at the two-way intersection of computer networking and artificial intelligence: AI for networking — learned congestion control, traffic engineering, anomaly detection, and self-driving networks; and networking for AI — collective communication, edge inference placement, distributed training topologies, and federated learning over real networks.
SNAI 2024 was held on 18–20 October 2024 at the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. The symposium ran as a hybrid event, with in-person sessions streamed virtually for remote attendees. The programme featured two keynote talks, oral sessions across four research tracks, a poster session, three co-located workshops, and a conference banquet at the West Lake.
The proceedings are archived in the LiteConf open-access repository: LiteConf CFP record for SNAI 2024.
The SNAI symposium series was founded in 2024 to give a dedicated home to research at the intersection of networking and AI. Later editions:
