SNAI is a single-track symposium dedicated to the two-way intersection of computer networking and artificial intelligence. It was founded in 2024 to give a stable, peer-reviewed home to research that had previously been scattered across networking, ML, and systems venues.

Scope

SNAI welcomes submissions that advance either side of the network/AI intersection.

AI for networking

Learned congestion control, traffic engineering, routing, scheduling, anomaly detection, intrusion and fault diagnosis, intent-based and self-driving networks, closed-loop network automation, telemetry summarization, configuration synthesis, and operator-facing AI tools.

Networking for AI

Collective communication, RDMA and lossless fabrics, topology design and topology-aware scheduling for training clusters, congestion control for AI workloads, distributed training under bandwidth and jitter constraints, federated and split learning, edge inference placement, and the systems that sustain large-scale model serving.

History

SNAI began in 2024 as a single-track workshop of an associated conference, then grew rapidly into an independent annual symposium. Past editions:

• SNAI 2025 — 2nd edition, Singapore Management University, Singapore · 143 submissions, 38 accepted, 260 attendees
• SNAI 2026 — 3rd edition, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain · submission deadline 21 August 2026

Code of conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers are expected to follow the SNAI code of conduct at all conference venues and online spaces.
